As China opens its borders for tourists, we extend a warm welcome to youths from all over the world who are are passionate about uncovering the beauty and complexity of Chinese language and cultureoffering a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and exploration. In summer 2026, we invite international youth to join a two-week immersion in Chinese language and culture. The adventure kicks off in the vibrant metropolis of Beijing, then ventures out to ancient traditional sites waiting to be discovered.Imagine two weeks of laughter and discovery, surrounded by peers who love what you love—and guided by locals who bring every moment to life. That's this camp. Fun, rewarding, and unforgettable.

You'll dive into tailoredpractical Mandarin classes andOver two weeks, you'll experience tailored Mandarin classes and a wealth of cultural activities. The courses blend essential language skills with practical themes—so you're not just learning words, but using them. Order breakfast at a local market. Ask for directions in a hutong. Connect with locals as you explore. This is language learning that works because you live it.

Through our cultural activities, international youth discover a new dimension of understanding. Try your hand at the elegance of calligraphy, the patience of paper cutting, the ancient art of pottery—not as a spectator, but as a creator. City walks take you through Beijing's iconic landmarks, where centuries of history stand alongside modern life. And then there are the moments you'll taste, touch, and carry with you: the ritual of Chinese tea art, the stories woven into silk, the warmth of making dumplings with new friends. Each experience is a thread in the rich tapestry of China—and you'll leave your own mark on it.

Language Learning

At our summer camp, you'll take 6–9 hours of Mandarin lessons each week—but this isn't just classroom study. Alongside foundational instruction, you'll dive into practical thematic exercises designed for real moments: ordering food, asking directions, sharing stories with new friends. By the time you're exploring Beijing's hutongs or chatting with locals, you'll have the confidence to connect in the world's most spoken language.

Food ​Enjoyment

One day, you're enjoying a bowl of icy noodles in the shadow of the Forbidden City—cool, refreshing, perfect. Another day, you're gathered with friends around a steaming hot pot, dipping, cooking, sharing stories as the broth bubbles on. Street corners, alleyways, late-night feasts—every moment is a treat for the taste buds. Come hungry.

Social Activities

At our summer camp, something beautiful happens: you'll find your people. Fellow travelers from around the world who share your fascination with Chinese culture. Local friends eager to welcome you into their world. Around meals, adventures, and quiet conversations, friendships form that don't fade when summer ends. Hanhai Culture is here to be the bridge—helping you connect, communicate, and build bonds that last far beyond these few weeks.

We welcome youths with diversified backgrounds to join us. Though participants need to be 18+ years old for this camp. 


Group Size: 10-15 individuals per group

Program Duration: 2weeks, arriving and departing on Sundays.

Program Date: July 1st, 2026

Program Location: Beijing

Program Schedule: Start on Sunday, and a distribution of a two-week schedule 

Program Price: 3,288 USD/person; Discount - 3,088 USD/person (two people register together); 2,988 USD/person (three people register together)

First Week:

Morning (3 hours): Chinese language course, basic introduction

Afternoon (3.5 hours): Traditional cultural activities and strolls around the city 

Evening (6 hours): Free time or social activities 

Weekend 1: City tours

Weekend 2: Free days of traveling 

 

Note: Multiple Citywalk routes available, chosen based on weather conditions
